Medical Coaching is a tool designed to facilitate the healing process and maintain well-being beyond life's circumstances.

It aims to assist individuals – and organizations – in developing the skills to navigate crises and changes, acquiring essential resources for daily living such as resilience, trust, and courage. Every crisis, illness, or serious situation is something that has happened to us, from which to learn and initiate transformation – it is NOT who we are.

The significance of this is particularly highlighted by events related to the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The medical coaching model I propose aligns with the approach developed by the Medical Coaching Institute of Israel (medical-coaching-institute.com) after years of research and experimentation.

It applies to those experiencing a medical crisis, a situation that challenges them physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.

Coaching is available in various modalities:

Supporting medical and health personnel, who are exposed to ‘compassion syndrome’ and prolonged fatigue in their daily work.

Businesses that prioritize people and embody their mission with a collective well-being focus, uniting value and profit, utilize medical coaching for the development of corporate well-being and the resilience capacity of employees and the organisation as a whole.

In countries such as Israel, the USA and Canada, medical coaching is already well established and is spreading internationally through the medical coach network.

In Italy, it is in its early stages: organisations, regions, and communities that choose to adopt it will be pioneers in innovative pilot projects. Specifically, for territories and communities interested, medical coaching can be a tool to integrate into territorial policies and engage with stakeholders to:

Make a significant contribution to achieving the Agenda 2030.
